Clinical Supervision

Supervision by Pamela Ganem, M.S. LPC, N.C.C.

As a person with layered identities and life experiences, a commitment to anti-oppression in therapeutic practices, and extensive training in Gestalt therapy, Pamela brings a non-traditional approach to the confusing and anxiety-producing process of becoming a therapist. Since 2019, Pamela has been teaching the clinical practicum at PSU, providing her with invaluable experience and a keen eye for the development of new clinicians. She is passionate about supporting new therapists in their career development, which involves growing confidence and skills, adopting a grounded theoretical lens, efficient and high-quality note-taking, OHP-approved treatment planning, and especially assisting in the business aspect of building a private practice that provides a good living while remaining accessible to clients.

At this time, Pamela enjoys supervising graduate interns starting their journey as therapist-as-self, as well as fully licensed professionals looking to revamp their work through a Gestalt lens.

*If you are an associate working towards your clinical hours with the State of Oregon please note Pamela is not available for that dynamic at this time.
